Sprinting in time intervals on tasks (or sub tasks) is super important.
I was just reminded of this now which made me decide to write this post.
Normally I set the timer for 30 minutes and then try my best to execute the task at hand, no distractions. (This strategy is known as the Pomidoro Technique.)
The same goes for when I write this blog. I brain storm throughout the day when something happens to me and then I set aside 30 minute intervals to write.
Today while writing I got distracted looking for topics rather than writing. My 30 minutes came to an end and I hadn’t actually written anything meaningful.
If you power through these intervals it’s amazing how much you can accomplish by the end of the day.
