Conversations drive things forward.
I used to fall into the trap of thinking in order to get work done I had to be at my computer “working”. But what I’ve come to realize is that have conversations, interactions with actual people is really what moves things forward.
Yes, work needs to be done. But not all work is equal. Having conversations, clarifying what is meaningful, and then executing makes such a huge difference.
