When the dust settles…

…from this pandemic here is (some of) what I predict will happen:

  • People will understand that it’s vital to have a six month to one year emergency fund. I’m not suggesting it’s easy to get there for most, but it’s worth working towards.
  • Plenty of people who have been laid off won’t be able to return to their positions. Partially because of the economy, but also because business will realize they simply don’t need them. Automation will really start to take over.
  • Working from home won’t be the normal, but more people will be doing it.
  • We (collectively) won’t be ready for the next one. Society will focus on what might happen as opposed to being ready for anything to happen.
