Was shared this article on Bloomberg and it made me cringe.
For most companies I don’t think this form of spying on your employees is not going to be a good long term strategy.
Capturing keystrokes? Logging website visits? Periodic screenshots? Always on video calls?
Instead of forcing employees to sit down and ‘work’ shouldn’t the focus be on…results? In order to get results you need to work!
Yes, people will do other things at home (say hello to family, start the laundry, start dinner). These micro-breaks, in my opinion, increase productivity and overall wellness.
If you don’t trust the people you hired (regardless from where they work) why did you hire them in the first place?
