The goal when playing golf is to make you’re bad shots less bad. It sounds funny, but it’s true.
When you play a round most of the shots you hit will be inherently bad.
The few good shots you hit will always be good, the opportunity to improve is to simply make your bad shots, less bad.
I like this because it applies directly to life. Take lots of shots and work at incrementally making them less bad. The good ones will always be good, it’s decreasing your downside that makes you better.
