No more naps. Mostly.

In July I decided to try out a biphasic sleep experiment.

If I’m honest I enjoyed doing it (and I actually think it could be better for me).

But maintaining any sort of routine was difficult. For example, I’ve always found maintaining a regular sleep pattern through the weekend is difficult. Add in a planned mid-day nap and it’s even more difficult.

Will I continue with this? Not entirely. While I won’t plan on a regular mid day nap I can’t promise it might not happen.

Will I try again in the future? Yes, I think I will. One of the bigger factors is kids. Once they are older and more independent it might be worth a second shot.

Until then, I’ll have to stick with a regular monophasic routine.
