You may have had the opportunity to see Mars this past week.
I know that I’ve seen Mars in the sky before, I can’t remember exactly when but seeing it isn’t any sort of phenomenon.
What I found interesting when looking at it was knowing that the Human mission to Mars is a real thing and probably will happen during my lifetime. It brought a different perspective looking upon the red planet.
I’m not writing this to argue if we should or should not commit resources to sending a human team to Mars. But if the final decision to do it is made, and the mission is successful, isn’t that just incredible?
